Our School
We bring high energy classes that incorporate our five concrete principles, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit. These principles help students improve on the mat, at school and at home! Our team helps students reach their goals through positive reinforcement and high-level teaching in a group setting. Our program allows students to advance through the ranks at their own pace, gain confidence and improve fitness—making us a great home for your Taekwondo training!
Our History
White Tiger Martial Arts Academy was established in 2018 when Owner & Chief instructor, Joseph Abate proudly continued the legacy of his childhood instructor. Joseph began his martial arts journey in 1996 as a kid, started assisting classes by 2000, and began teaching in 2006. From the moment he stepped onto the mat, he fell in love with both martial arts and teaching, nurturing a dream that one day he would lead and own a school of his own. That dream became reality with White Tiger, and as we continue to grow, our commitment remains the same: to provide every student with the highest-quality training experience possible.
What Sets Us Apart
At White Tiger, our program is built for students of every age, background, and learning style. We’ve created a positive, encouraging training environment where anyone can grow, set goals, and thrive.
Our instructor team is one of our greatest strengths—each of our instructors started their training with Mr. Abate between the ages of 4–8 years old. He has shaped them into the martial artists and instructors that they are today and collectively share his passion for teaching and working with students. Their dedication to White Tiger and to the families in our community has shaped a culture of growth, connection, and camaraderie. We’re proud of the environment and team we’ve built together.

Our goal at White Tiger Martial Arts Academy is to change lives through Taekwondo, and we do that by fostering a family‑oriented culture. Along with our classes, we host multiple monthly events that bring students and families together, strengthen our community, and deepen the sense of belonging that makes White Tiger feel like home.
We empower our students to grow by offering a variety of focused seminars that let them explore the parts of Taekwondo they enjoy most. These sessions introduce new skills, broaden their knowledge, and help shape well-rounded, confident martial artists.
We teach with the traditional ITF Taekwondo curriculum. This follows a style that utilizes practical forms applications, safe sparring scenarios, self defense, fitness, and confidence.
At White Tiger, all our memberships are month-to-month, giving your family the flexibility you need without any long-term contracts or pressure.
Testing is an important part of everyone’s Taekwondo journey. At White Tiger Martial Arts, we believe that students should earn their rank, not pay for their rank. White Tiger does not have any additional testing, belt or rank promotion fees. Testing is held every four months, and we ensure that each student is prepared to be successful at their testing.
